Hayley Turner, the rider of TELL HALAF, which started favourite and finished unplaced, reported that the colt hung left. The Stewards ordered TELL HALAF to be routine tested.
Seb Sanders, the rider of TANLEY, reported that the gelding stopped quickly.
Frankie McDonald, the rider of ANDRASTA, reported that the mare was slowly away.
The representative of M H Tompkins, the trainer of EDWARD WHYMPER, reported that the gelding was unsuited by today’s ground (Good to Firm, firm in places in back straight).
P W D’Arcy, the trainer of NELSON’S BOUNTY, reported that the gelding was unsuited by today’s ground (Good to Firm, firm in places in back straight).

L. Betts, the rider of BINGLYBONGLYBOO, reported the gelding missed the break.
The Stewards considered the running of HAYLEY CROPPER ridden by A. Nicholls and trained by D. Nicholls, who started second favourite and finished unplaced and having received a report that the trainer was unable to offer any explanation and in the absence of any other relevant information, they decided not to hold an enquiry. The Stewards ordered HAYLEY CROPPER to be routine tested.
G. Gibbons, the rider of PUDDLE DUCK, reported the colt was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported the gelding PHILOSOPHERS STONE (FR), finished lame.
P.J. McDonald, the rider of DURHAM EXPRESS (IRE), reported the gelding reared as the stalls opened.
P. Makin, the rider of TIA JUANA (IRE), reported the filly hung right handed in the straight.
On a report from the Starter that PRINCE JAMES trained by M.W. Easterby was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn, the trainer’s attention was drawn to the restriction incurred under Rule (B)44 and informed that PRINCE JAMES could not run until the day after it had passed a stalls test.
