Each year Britain produces 5,000, advantaged, thoroughbred foals. They come from a host of private and public properties – some of them as well regarded as any in the world – and enjoy the luxury of a climate that allows them to have time outside on nearly everyday of the year. High standards of stud management are backed by access to the best available body of veterinary professionals.
International owners and breeders who have operations based in Britain include the Maktoum family, Khalid Abdulla, Kirsten Rausing, Egon Weinfeld, Eric Penser, Jeff Smith, and David and Patricia Thompson.
Education and investment in the bloodstock professionals of tomorrow is regarded as essential and various training courses attract students from throughout the world.
