What does it mean for me?

The new definition on Inside Information makes us aware of the types of information that might be classed as Inside Information and who typically has access to it. This is to prevent us from misusing, whether intentional or not.

To support the definition further, Codes of Conduct Under Schedule A2 (General), C3 (Trainers), and D5 (Jockeys) have been updated as part of the rules rewrite (active as of 7th Septmeber 2009), and replace the previous codes laid down in Appendix N, T and U of the old Rules of Racing.

These Codes provide guidance on general standards of behaviour to be observed by all Licensed, Permitted and Registered Persons and there are also specific codes that relate to your own position.
